Dārta Dzalbe

Dārta is an audio-speech therapist who combines scientifically based therapy methods with a warm and supportive approach in her work. In 2021, Dārta graduated from the Faculty of Rehabilitation of Riga Stradiņš University, obtaining a professional bachelor's degree in healthcare and a qualification as an audio-speech therapist, and since then her professional work has been dedicated to the development of children's speech, language and communication.

In search of the most effective ways to help children achieve their therapy goals, in 2022, Darta, together with her therapy dog, Aji, started audio-speech therapy-canine therapy classes. The presence of a dog in therapy creates an environment in which children feel safe and motivated, promoting not only language development, but also emotional well-being and joy. In 2024, a therapy dog, Noora, joined her team, providing even greater opportunities to tailor therapy to each child's individual needs.

Darta regularly updates her knowledge through continuing education courses and seminars to ensure the highest quality therapy and adapt her methods to the latest scientific findings. Her goal is to create an environment where children not only develop their language and communication skills, but also gain joy, self-confidence and self-belief. Together with Aji and Noor, she works to make every small step a big achievement.
