Kristiāna Avotiņa
Kristiāna graduated from Rīga Stradiņš University in 2019, obtaining a professional bachelor's degree in healthcare and a professional qualification as an occupational therapist.
Kristiāna specializes in working with preschool and school-age children and adolescents with intellectual disabilities, ranging from mild to severe and combined developmental and intellectual disabilities.In addition to her work at the Rehabilitation Center 'POGA,' Kristiāna works at “RigaBrain” a brain training center, where she works with children, adults, and seniors.
Kristiāna is a member of the Latvian Occupational Therapists Association and regularly attends professional development courses and seminars. Kristiāna believes that it is important to make each session interesting so that it brings positive emotions to the child!
Kristiāna is currently on long-term leave.
