Medical care for children

Pearl bath

Children with movement disorders have constantly tight and painful muscles because they are unable to function fully. As soon as one of the muscles stops working, other muscles try to compensate for the muscle's inactivity. Such long-term compensation is not desirable, as it leads to muscle overload and spasms. In the pearl bath in the water therapy room, thousands of small bubbles come into contact with the skin, creating a hydromassage effect that simultaneously soothes, normalizes blood pressure, relieves tension and pain, and improves joint mobility. Little patients go to pearl baths with great pleasure, because this therapy is so easy and pleasant compared to all the battles they have to fight every day.

By adding hydrotherapy treatments to the range of POGA rehabilitation services, children with mobility impairments are provided with more comprehensive rehabilitation. The idea of water treatments at POGA was born several years ago. One of the factors that encouraged us to create it is the fact that the procedure is an opportunity to disconnect from everyday difficulties for a moment, relax and have fun, watching bubble games and feeling how the pain in the body decreases.

Price 35 EUR for a 20-minute pearl bath session
