Swedbank extends its sincere gratitude for the opportunity to support the development of children with severe health conditions.

As part of its annual tradition, Swedbank has made a Christmas donation on behalf of its employees, allocating funds to initiatives that improve the lives of children and young people in need. At the end of December, Swedbank employees collectively chose to support five non-governmental organizations that provide vital assistance to vulnerable groups.

Through employee votes, a total of EUR 70,000 was distributed among the following organizations: “Mentor Latvia,” the Ziedot.lv Foundation project “Puppies of the heart!: Audiologist-Canistherapist Sessions for Children with Special Needs,” the Resilience Center, the Dr. Clown association, and the “Let’s Help Each Other” association, led by Edijs Pipars.

“With this donation, we aim to strengthen the capacities of five remarkable organizations that have demonstrated an exceptional ability to mobilize resources and engage others in their mission. This initiative reflects the power of collective effort and our belief that, together as a society, we can achieve extraordinary results,” stated Lauris Mencis, Chairperson of the Board at Swedbank Latvia.
